Our Pumpkin Taro Mantou is a celebration of natural, earthy flavors and artisanal care. We begin with a vibrant, golden dough made from fresh pumpkin, providing a naturally sweet and pillowy base. The heart of this mantou features a rich, velvety filling made from handpicked taros from the market to ensure peak freshness. We carefully prepare the taro to preserve its deep, nutty aroma and create a perfectly smooth and texture. We also fold in melon seeds, adding a delicate, toasted crunch that beautifully contrasts the soft, creamy center. Our mantou are available chilled or frozen. If you're lucky, you can even get them fresh out of the steamer! Because we work in small batches, we never mass-produce or keep large frozen stocks, ensuring every bun is as fresh as possible.
How to prepare?
1. Take out the mantou from the freezer.
2. Defrost the mantou about 15 mins room temperature or chiller overnight.
3. Boil a pot of water.
4. Steam the mantau for 7 mins.
5. Ready to serve
